A stunningly beautiful and easy trail to hike, and great for kids. Visitors can rent tubes from multiple sites near the park entrance and ride down Deep Creek. A must if you're in the GSM National Park area. Note: Restrooms are available at the picnic area just down from the trailhead, so go before you hike or tube. The trail and creek can be very busy on summer weekends. Fall colors are breathtaking.

I have been coming here since I was a child and now I get to bring my girls here and they love it just as much as I used to when younger. This is great family fun to hop on tubes and go floating down the creek. The drift is right about a mile long. We have always stayed at the camp sites next to the creek. Bryson City is a great place for a lot of small town activities also. Check it out for yourself.

Took the Deep Creek Loop. A nice 4+ mile hike. Get there early for parking. Saw a few people fly-fishing as well. A well kept trail and enjoyable morning hike.
